As part of the “Temecula Presents” 2010 season, the Friday Night Groove series will host the talents of blues musician Eden Brent at 8 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater at 42051 Main Street.

In the spirit of jazz greats Sarah Vaughn and Diana Krall, with a hint of Janis Joplin, Brent is a world traveled singer and pianist with a steadily growing fan base. She has performed alongside such industry giants as B.B. King.

And while her Mississippi roots inform her bluesy, “whiskey-smoke” sound, Brent has performed in a broad spectrum of venues, including the 2000 National Republication Convention and tour dates in South Africa and Norway.

To learn more about Brent or to sample music from her CD “Mississippi Number One,” visit www.edenbrent.com.

“Temecula Presents” showcases four artistic genres – Dance, Friday Night Groove, Classical and Big Band. Performances feature both local talents and artists from around the world.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.temeculatheater.org or by calling 1-866-OLD-TOWN.
