A Temecula father and son were arrested Thursday for what police believe to be possessing and selling heroin, and possession of a loaded firearm.
The Murrieta Police Department Special Enforcement Team served a narcotics-related search warrant on Roger Hummel, 48 and Travis Hummel, 21, at 2:30 p.m. at a Somerset Apartments residence on Stonewood Road in Temecula, said Murrieta police Sgt. Tony Conrad in a news release.
“Detectives believed the targets of the warrant were active heroin dealers in the Temecula and Murrieta area,” Sgt. Conrad said.
An ounce of heroin that was prepared and packaged for sale was recovered during the warrant search, he said. A shotgun and rifle along with evidence consistent with narcotics sales were also recovered.
The pair was booked at the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of the charges.

To: RealMadNow… the reason PissedLittleWoman didn’t do anything is because she is only 15 and did not know what was going on and was not enabling him. As you know Roger, he is very good at lying to people and only cares about himself. That’s why he’s abandoned his children and gone into hiding; it’s to save his own butt from being put in jail. He’s letting his 21 year old son take the fall for the whole thing even though he is just as responsible.

But please understand this, don’t be pissed at the police, they were only doing their job (to keep YOU and people like you safe from drug dealers) and don’t be mad at the news, they are simply reporting the news as you know cannot always be good. The ones you should be pissed at are your father and brother. THEY are the ones who did this, and broke the law, and endangered their lives and those around them and abandoned you and the rest of your family. It’s a hard pill to swallow and you may not ever understand, but the fact is, they broke the law and need to face punishment. You’re a smart girl and have plenty of better influences around you. Lean on them through this tough time and know that they love you.
i’am very disappointed in them both i was engaged to travis hummel and was with him for 4 years …i went through complete hell trying to get him help with his addiction …his father disgust me he is a very good liar and doesnt give a damn about anybody but himself if travis knows whats good for him he will get help and start his life over he is very smart and has a wonderful heart but this drug turns u into something that your not and someone that no one likes to be around hes has an amamzing family and a great support system he just needs to relize how blessed he is to even be alive…i wish travis the best of luck but roger deserves to stay in jail for the rest of his life!!!
