News alert: Fire reported east end of Temecula in Wine Country

Firefighters are on the scene of a blaze that started along Temecula’s eastern end near DePortola and Pauba roads, according to a California Highway Patrol and Calfire reports.

The fire was first reported at 2:46 p.m., according to a CHP website posting.

Scanner traffic is indicating the fire has been stopped at about three acres. There was a report of a minor burn injury to a firefighter.

CHP is reporting that Pauba Road is closed at DePortola Road.
