Two men impersonating police officers kidnapped the driver of a pharmaceutical delivery truck at a Rite Aid store in Sherman Oaks today.
The crime was reported at about 7:15 a.m. at the business in the 13000 block of Riverside Drive, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.
One man left in the delivery truck with the truck driver, and the other man fled in a black, newer model Honda. Both suspects were wearing black sweatshirts with “police” written on the back, the LAPD reported.
The truck driver was found, apparently unharmed, about 90 minutes later, but the suspects remained at-large, LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph said.
