Orange County coroner’s investigators today sought to identify a dead man found in a lake at Eisenhower Park in Orange.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, may be a transient, police said. A fisherman reported the body in the lake near the 2800 block of North Tustin Street about 10:40 a.m. Friday, according to Orange police Sgt. Dan Adams.
Two officers in a boat recovered the fully clothed body in about 5 feet of water about 20 feet from the shoreline.
Transients in the area said the man was a regular in the park, police said.
Anyone with more information was asked to call Detective Aaron Towner at (714)744-7456.
