Murrieta police briefly closed off a portion of Hancock Avenue in Murrieta after a bomb threat was made against a school bus.
The street was closed between Medical Center Drive and Murrieta Hot Springs Road near Rancho Springs Medical Center about 3:30 p.m. and reopened at about 3:55 p.m.
The school bus remains parked in front of Hancock Avenue and police are investigating the incident.
According to police radio traffic, the bus was carrying students from Warm Springs Middle School in Murrieta. A student warned the bus driver that there was a bomb on board.
According to radio traffic, there was a similar incident reported on Wednesday.

With the intelligence level of the kids today, the kid probably meant to say there was a bum on board the bus not a bomb. Duh !!!
