San Diego teen stabbed; not cooperating with police

A teenage boy was stabbed several times in an attack in the Mountain View area early today, San Diego police said.

The youth was walking home after drinking with some friends when they were confronted by two suspects in the 3900 block of T Street, Officer David Stafford said.

Words were exchanged, and one suspect began punching the victim, while the other stabbed him several times in the ribs, back and
shoulder, he said.

The wounded boy walked home, and his brother called police about two hours later, Stafford said, adding the victim was not cooperating with police.

The teenager was taken to a hospital and expected to be OK, Stafford said.
