A Temecula dentist accused of having sex with an underage girl he was coaching in gymnastics is slated to be arraigned today on statutory rape and other felonies.
David Martinus Reiakvam, 42, is facing one count each of unlawful sex with a minor, lewd acts on a child under 14 and oral copulation of a minor.
The doctor, who runs Reiakvam Family and Cosmetic Dentistry at 28910 Rancho California Road, is free on $50,000 bail.
If convicted of all charges, he could face 21 years in state prison.
Reiakvam was arrested Nov. 2 following an investigation by the Riverside Police Department’s sex crimes unit.
