Free tire recycling available for Lake Elsinore residents

Free tire recycling for all Lake Elsinore residents will be available Jan. 15 at the Public Works Yard.

City residents can bring in up to nine, derimmed tires per trip to the yard for recycling. Tires from businesses, nonprofits and non-Lake Elsinore residents will not be accepted.

Semi truck tires, semi trailer tires, agricultural tractor and construction equipment tires will not be accepted.

Tire collection and recycling runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Public Works Yard, 521 North Langstaff Street, Lake Elsinore.
