Wildomar police arrest man after finding stolen cash, credit cards

Wildomar police arrested a man who was spotted by witnesses loitering near a vehicle and found what officials say was stolen cash and credit cards, said Sgt. Peter Giannakakos.

Tyler Flourny was taken into custody about 5 a.m. and booked on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property, Giannakakos said.

A witness spotted Flourny loitering by a vehicle near the 23000 of Doheny Circle at about 4 a.m. and officers discovered Flourny in possession of stolen credit cards, a safe, $5,000 in cash, assorted GPS devices, laptops and drug paraphernalia, Giannakakos said.

Wildomar officers were able to return the cash and credit cards to a local victim.

The Wildomar Police Department is making every effort to locate additional victims regarding this investigation.
