Foreclosure home sales drop in Riverside County by double digits

Sales of foreclosed homes in Riverside County dropped by double digits in 2010, due in part to banks’ voluntarily suspending foreclosure proceedings, a real estate tracking firm reported today.

Bay Area-based ForeclosureRadar.com’s year-end summary of foreclosure activity nationwide showed a total 22,414 repossessed properties were auctioned off in Riverside County in 2010, compared to 25,641 sales the year before
