Shine those dancing shoes and bust out your best moves, it’s time for one of February’s most anticipated social events—Murrieta Rotary Club’s Valentine’s Day dinner-dance.
Put on for Southwest Riverside’s adult special needs community, the event is known to draw in hundreds of anxious, dolled-up dancers ready to celebrate friendship and love.
Last year’s dinner-dance packed the Murrieta Community Center with more than 300 guests from Murrieta’s alternative recreation program and Care-Rite Vocational Services in Temecula, a group that helps teach life skills to adults with disabilities
This year, the ‘Forever After Ball’ will be limited to the first 140 registrants. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Murrieta Community Center, 21810 Juniper Street.
Interact Club members and students from Murrieta Mesa, Murrieta Valley and Vista Murrieta high schools will be among those volunteering Friday night.
