Single-game tickets for Los Angeles Dodgers go on sale Saturday

Los Angeles Dodgers single-game tickets will go on sale Saturday, with tickets for the March 31 Opening Day game against the World Series champion San Francisco Giants available only at Dodger Stadium.

Ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. at Dodger Stadium, online at www.dodgers.com/tickets or by calling (866) Dodgers.

Fans wishing to buy tickets at Dodger Stadium can enter the parking gates at 8 a.m. Fans will receive numbered wristbands and a starting lottery number will be randomly selected at 9 a.m. The fan with the selected number will have the first chance to purchase tickets, followed by the remainder of fans who will be served in numerical sequence.

A limited number of Opening Day tickets will be made available. Opening Day tickets customarily sell out shortly after going on sale.

The bulk of the 56,000 tickets for Opening Day are sold through season and partial-season tickets plans and will continue to be available after Saturday through those plans.

All fans buying at least one ticket at Dodger Stadium Saturday will receive a fleece blanket.

Dodger merchandise, including some new for 2011, will be on sale and Dodger Dogs will be available for $2 Saturday in parking Lot P, where trivia contests will be conducted and music played.
