A fatal vehicle crash Sunday at a Menifee home in under investigation after the driver’s husband was found dead inside the home garage, a sheriff’s sergeant said Sunday.
Officers from the Menifee Police Department responded at 11:15 a.m. to the 27000 block of Uppercrest Street after reports of a collision at a Menifee home, Sgt. Dan Lingo said in a news release.
When deputies arrived, they found the woman driver had succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision, Lingo said. As officials were investigating the crash, deputies came across the body of the driver’s husband in the garage of the home, Lingo said.
The husband did not have any injuries that were consistent to the crash, he said.
Both the crash and the man’s death are under investigation.
