Sheen and his ‘goddesses’ were officially invited to participate in the Storm’s special rehab promotional event, where the actor will be recognized for his on-screen pitching abilities in “Major League,” the Lake Elsinore Storm Professional Baseball Team announced.
In part with the stadium’s Thirsty Thursday event, the promotion will feature $1 beers and Coke products. Fans in attendance will also be able to enjoy a night of baseball as the Storm take on the Bakersfield Blaze at 7:05p.m., along with a full lineup of surprises that will highlight Sheen’s antics on the now canceled CBS show, “Two and Half Men.”
To fully revel in Sheen’s “winning” lifestyle, an in-game taco eating contest will be held along with a Rehab-style party on the Tiki Terrace serving up “tigerblood” cocktails. And for those who love the sweeter things in life a 2-for-1 Ho Hos special will be available as well.
Pregame ‘winnings’ include a limited edition Charlie Sheen bobblehead, a “Wild Thing” glasses give-a-away and a one-season retiring of number 99, from Sheen’s role as closer Ricky Vaughn, Storm officials said.
“As with any rehab assignment, we’re here to help Charlie embrace that ‘winning’ feeling,” said Chris Jones, Vice President/General Manager of the Storm. “Also, as a show of support, we welcome all current cast and crew members to the ballpark that night for only two and a half cents.”
