Four injured after car crashes into building in Indio

One person was critically hurt and three others suffered moderate injuries this morning when their car they were in crashed into a building in Indio.

The vehicle crashed into the building on Avenue 46 at Golf Center Parkway at about 5:17 a.m., Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

Two of the victims had to be cut from the vehicle, she said. All passengers were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
