Historic Downtown Murrieta homeowners to get free home maintenance

Habitat for Humanity and the Church of Latter-Day Saints will combine efforts to help repair 20 homes in Historic Downtown Murrieta Saturday.

More than 400 volunteers will work from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the “Mormons Helping Hands Day”. The Temecula and Murrieta Rotary Clubs will also help.

Twenty homeowners were selected to get minor home repairs from painting, yard work, fence repairs and trash clean-up.
