The Kings of Leon will take the stage the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at 9:55 p.m. Friday and play for about 80 minutes, promoters behind the three-day festival announced today.
The alternative rock band formed in Tennessee in 1999 by three brothers and a cousin will be the top act Friday night on the Coachella Stage. The sold-out event, held on three main stages, opens Friday at 11 a.m., and the first act to play will be Alf Alpha at 11:30 a.m. on the Sahara Stage.
Arcade Fire, the Montreal-based indie rock band, will be the top draw Saturday, taking the stage at 11:30 p.m.
Other set times released today included: Cee Lo Green, 4:50 p.m. Friday on the Coachella Stage; Flogging Molly, midnight Saturday at the Outdoor Theatre; Jimmy Eat World, Sunday at 4:50 p.m. at the Outdoor Theatre, Duran Duran at 7:25 p.m. on the Coachella Stage, followed by the Strokes at 8:55 p.m.

Weekend passes are available, but single-event tickets are sold out. Organizers are urging people to be on the lookout for scams. No paper tickets are being made available, and no printed tickets will be honored at the gates.
