Temecula Valley Wine Country offers Easter brunches, egg hunts, more

The Easter Bunny will be hopping through Temecula’s Wine Country Sunday, stopping by five wineries to greet visitors.

Chefs at Falkner, Ponte, South Coast Resort & Spa, Thornton, and Wilson creek wineries have come up with varying ways to celebrate Easter with special Sunday menus. Items include Champagne, Sangria, roast leg of lamb, shrimp and crab enchiladas, and discounted glasses of wine.

Falkner Winery

A champagne brunch will be held in the Pinnacle Restaurant from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost ranges from $49.95 per person or $44.95 for Wine Club members and guests and $22.50 for children ages six to 12. Children under six years are free.

The hill-top restaurant will feature a brunch offering multiple food stations with food prepared by Executive Chef Gianni Ciciliot. The menu includes discounted wine by the glass. To see a full menu visit Falkner Winery or call 951-676-8231.

Ponte Winery

The winery will focus on family celebration with an egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Children will get to eat kid-friendly foods while adults relax with Mimosas and Sangria and a large brunch menu. The brunch will have live entertainment. The egg hunts will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The winery will have four seatings at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. The cost is $55 per person or $49 for Wine Club members and $25 for children 12 and under.For more information visit Ponte Family Estate Winery to buy tickets.

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa

The Vineyard Rose will host the resorts Easter brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $42 per adult and $19 per child and includes two glasses of Champagne. Wine Club members can receive a 10% discount for up to four guests at a table.

Thorton Winery

The winery will feature an Easter buffet from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $49.95 per adult and $19.95 for children 12 and under. Children under 5 are free.

Wilson Creek Winery

The Easter brunch will feature live music while patrons gnosh on Eggs Benedict, a chilled seafood bar, and a carved leg of lamb. The winery will also have a petting zoo and a photographer snapping photos of guests with the Easter Bunny.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and lasts all day. The cost is $49.95 per adult or $44.95 for Wine Club members and $12.95 for children 12 and under.
