The money raised from Temecula’s First Valley Heart Walk will benefit research at local institutions and initiatives that promote the prevention, treatment and better patient care in the areas of cardiovascular disease. Opening Ceremonies kicks off at 8 a.m. this Sunday with walking to follow shortly after.

Murrieta high schools students will come together to stage dance and musical performances that celebrate Mexican heritage. The shows will take place at 7 p.m. on May 5-7 at Murrieta Mesa High School. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased online at www.vmhs.net.

The skies are blue, the weather is warm – it’s the perfect time to celebrate America’s favorite pastime.
