Thousands of Southwest Riverside high school seniors nipped Senioritis in the bud and prepared for graduation. These young men and women have celebrated with families, said goodbye to friends and hello to their futures ahead, preparing to take their next step forward.

Lakeside High School graduated 430 seniors May 25 at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore:
Temescal High School graduated 420 seniors May 26 at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore.
Elsinore High School graduated 430 seniors May 26 at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore.
Temecula Valley Unified School District
Temecula Valley High School graduated 621 seniors on May 26 at the TVHS football stadium. Valedictorian: Gino Pineda; Salutatorians: Kaitlyn Caswell and Mason Perry.
“The class of 2011 at TVHS is comprised of student leaders who are vested in the well being of our society and our school. They have a zest for life and a spirit that has been infectious. I love all of my students and am saddened to see these seniors go, but I am equally happy to know that this group of seniors will return as leaders who will give back to our society through their careers of choice. Our graduating class is made up of students who will be our future doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses, business owners, and decorated armed forces workers.”~ Dr. Richard Lawrence, TVHS Principal
Chaparral High School graduated 694 seniors on May 26 at the CHS football stadium. Valedictorian: Samaira Sirajee; Salutatorian: Chen Pan.
Great Oak High School graduated 720 students at on May 27 at GOHS football stadium. Valedictorian: Lakshmi Prathivadi; Salutatorian: Michelle Miller.
“The Class of 2011 has seen our school’s API score increase by 53 points from 792 to 845 during their 3 years of testing at GOHS. They have been part of both CIF and state championships during their tenure. They boast our first Riverside County All Academic Team member as named by county superintendent, Ken Young, in our school’s history. They are a highly talented, versatile group who has moved our school forward academically, artistically, and athletically. We are proud of the legacy they leave behind.” ~Joe Balleweg, GOHS Principal
