Moonlight Movies in the Park

Residents are invited to spread out a blanket, snap open their lawn chairs, and settle in for a night of Hollywood magic under the stars. “How to Train Your Dragon” starts at dusk but the fun and games kick off at 6 p.m. June 24 at the Community Recreation Center Amphitheater in Temecula.

Old Town Temecula Street Painting Festival

The 11th Annual Old Town Temecula Street Painting Festival and 4th Annual Ralph Love Plein Air Festival will feature the work of painters and muralists from throughout Southwest Riverside June 24-26 on Main Street in Old Town Temecula.

It’s going to be a good, old-fashioned day of food, fun and fireworks – American-style – when Menifee celebrates the nation’s birthday with its 20th Annual Independence Day Celebration and Parade at 5 p.m. on June 25.

The Temecula Valley Players will stage a heartwarming production of “Sylvia”– a play that offers the comedic tale of a man and a stray pooch. Directed by Terri Miller Schmidt, “Sylvia” gets underway at 7:30 p.m. June 24-25 and at 2 p.m. on June 26 at Old Town Temecula Theater in Temecula.

Pennypickle’s By Kids For Kids Garage Sale

It’s going to be the first ever “By Kids; For Kids Garage Sale” when Pennypickle’s Workshop hosts this fun event from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 25 at the Temecula Children’s Museum. Proceeds from the garage sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Children’s Museum, will benefit programming and science-themed activities at the award-winning museum.
