Perris: Woman, six children displaced after fire rips through kitchen of mobile home

A woman and six children were displaced early Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in their mobile home, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The fire at the single-story, double-wide mobile home was reported shortly after 3 a.m. at 21590 Olive Street, said spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson in a report.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze to the kitchen by 3:31 a.m., according to Hendrickson.

The Red Cross assisted the woman, four girls and two boys after the fire.
