Singer Josh Groban, who was set to perform at San Diego State University’s Viejas Arena at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16, canceled Tuesday because of a scheduling conflict.
A representative at the arena confirmed the cancellation.
Groban, known for his wide vocal range, won’t be able to book another San Diego appearance this year because of the way his tour is set up, according to a statement issued by Live Nation, which promotes concerts at most San Diego venues.
Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased at the arena will be refunded at their box office; ticket holders must call Ticketmaster if tickets were purchased via that ticket agent.
Here are two reviews by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and MLive.com of Groban’s recent “Straight To You” tour stops.
