The distribution company, which announced the campaign at the beginning of the year, is donating DVDs to its community investment partners across the U.S. The aim is to celebrate memorable movies that were made popular by viewers.

For the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest County, that means hundreds of local children will be receiving free DVDs in the near future.

“We are planning on giving many of the DVDs away at the Club’s Day for Kids event schedule (sic) for Saturday, September 17, while the rest will be used for incentive prizes for the kids,” said Maryann Edwards, President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest County, in a released statement.

“We were jazzed when we heard that we would be receiving over 1,000 DVDs for the kids,” Edwards said.
