Murrieta: Sig Alert issued after collision on freeway

A Sig Alert has been issued for the northbound Interstate 215 after a car crashed into the center divider along the freeway in Murrieta, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 10:16 a.m. near the northbound I-15 and I-215 just north of Nutmeg Street, CHP said.

According to CHP reports, northbound traffic is backed up to the I-215 split.

There was no estimate when the Sig Alert would be lifted.
