The Riverside County Department of Public Health officials announced Thursday night the closure of the Indio Family Care Clinic after a widespread power outage affected three major cities in Southern California.
The Indio Family Care Clinic is located at 47-923 Oasis Street.
“We have rescheduled appointments and anyone with serious conditions were sent to urgent care or other emergency facilities,” said Jose Arballo Jr., spokesman for the County Department of Public Health.
Arballo said there was it was on when the clinics would re-open.
The Riverside County Department of Public Health is reminding those affected by the outage to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water, avoid alcoholic and sugar-sweetened beverages, take cool showers and stay in the shade.
