It’s going to be a busy weekend, to be sure. The 17th Annual Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival is set to host hundreds of industry talents from around the world, and the Steve Miller Concert Symphony will be rockin’ downtown Temecula.

The Bridal Suite is set to host the Fall Bridal Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. Wilson Creek’s Sunset Jazz in the Vines 2011 concert series continues with a special performance by contemporary jazz guitarist Jeff Golub. The performance is planned for 7 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Join the fun at the first semi-annual Salsa & Guacamole-making competition. Feast on carne asada taco buffet, plus your choice of sangria, wine or a Black Market Brewery special select beer. Additional beverages may be purchased. The fun kicks off 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 16.

The deliciously smooth sounds of jazz are still humming through Temecula’s Wine Country. Treat yourself this weekend with good fun, music and wine at Thornton Winery. Don’t miss Chris Botti, along with Vincent Ingala, when they perform at 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. Tickets are $95. Gourmet supper package is $160.

Monte De Oro is set to host its 1st Annual Grape Stomp beginning at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 18. This event is a family-friendly affair with kid-oriented activities, BBQ lunch, and a messy, crazy-fun grape stomp.

Visit Falkner Winery and its Pinnacle Restaurant and you’ll get to enjoy a great lunch special as well as free Jazz in the outdoor lawn area from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Stop and settle in for a glass of wine, while taking in the sights and sounds of Old Town Temecula. Local artist Gabriele Baber’s popular paintings, capturing the essence of the valley, will be found there for your viewing pleasure.
