It’s going to be a busy weekend, to be sure. The 17th Annual Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival is set to host hundreds of industry talents from around the world, and the Steve Miller Concert Symphony will be rockin’ downtown Temecula.

Wilson Creek’s Sunset Jazz in the Vines 2011 concert series continues with a special performance by contemporary jazz guitarist Jeff Golub. The performance is planned for 7 p.m. on Sept. 17.

The deliciously smooth sounds of jazz are still humming through Temecula’s Wine Country. Treat yourself this weekend with good fun, music and wine at Thornton Winery. Monte De Oro is set to host its 1st Annual Grape Stomp beginning at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 18. This event is a family-friendly affair with kid-oriented activities, BBQ lunch, and a messy, crazy-fun grape stomp.

Visit Falkner Winery and its Pinnacle Restaurant and you’ll get to enjoy a great lunch special as well as free Jazz in the outdoor lawn area from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Stop and settle in for a glass of wine, while taking in the sights and sounds of Old Town Temecula. Local artist Gabriele Baber’s popular paintings, capturing the essence of the valley, will be found there for your viewing pleasure.
