Police arrested a woman and a teenage girl Tuesday in connection with vandalism that caused $15,000 worth of damage to cars and homes of 17 Glen Ivy residents.
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore station were called at 1 a.m. to the area of Tesoto Loop and Cypress Street about vandalism in the area, Sgt. Dave Sanches said in a news release.
They arrested Breanne Burkhart, 22, of Glen Ivy and a 17-year-old girl, Sanches said. The girl’s name was not released because she is a minor.
The investigation revealed paint was used to vandalize the homes and cars of 17 residents with damages set at approximately $15,000, Sanches said.
Burkhart was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of felony vandalism while the teenage girl was released to a relative at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station, Sanches said.
