Three suspects forced their way into a San Jacinto man’s home today, tied him up and robbed him.
The home invasion occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Angela Way, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, who was not identified, told deputies that three men he didn’t know broke into his house and subdued him after a brief struggle. The trio bound the resident, then ransacked his home, said sheriff’s Sgt. Stephen Mike.
Authorities did not disclose what was taken.
The suspects fled in a dark-colored Chevrolet Suburban, Mike said.
Deputies searched the area but turned up nothing.
A composite sketch was released of one of the suspects, described as a black man in his early 20s, with chin stubble and a thin mustache. He was wearing a hoodie-style sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about the home invasion robbery was asked to call the sheriff’s San Jacinto station at 951-537-6402 .
