Six people injured in two-car crash near Mira Loma

Six people were injured today in a two-vehicle crash near Mira Loma, a county fire spokeswoman said.

Three engines responded to the crash, which occurred at Sumner Avenue and Pheasant Knoll Road around 7:30 a.m., Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

Six people were transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, she said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
