Firefighters made quick work of a fire at a single-family home in Moreno Valley today, putting it out in about 20 minutes and confining its damage to a two-car garage, the fire department said.
Twenty firefighters responded to the blaze, which was reported at 10:49 a.m. in the 23800 block of Parkland Avenue. It was extinguished by 11:08 a.m., said Jody Hagemann of the fire department.
“There was no damage to the dwelling area and minor damage to the garage,” Hagemann said.
She said there were no injuries and that the fire department was investigating the cause of the fire.
