A fire erupted on the second floor of a two-story Moreno Valley home today, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
The blaze was reported around 12:35 p.m. at 28210 Grandview Drive, near Rocky Mountain Way, in a gated community that fronts the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club.
Witnesses reported black smoke pouring out of an upstairs window of the residence.
Five engine crews, numbering around 20 personnel, were working to contain the blaze, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
It was unclear whether the home was occupied.
