The fee includes the spaying or neutering of a dog or cat, age-appropriate vaccinations and a microchip, city spokeswoman Amy Blaisdell said.
“Give yourself or your family the best Christmas gift ever and adopt a four-legged friend at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter,” said Palm Springs Police Chief Al Franz, who oversees the shelter. “There are many happy, healthy animals just waiting for a new home.”
