A teenager was stabbed at a party in Cathedral City today and was hospitalized in stable condition, according to police.
The stabbing occurred at about 12:15 a.m. at a residence in the 32100 block of Sky Blue Water Trail, said Cathedral City police Sgt. Albert Ruiz.
“When officers arrived, the victim said he was stabbed while attending a large party by an unknown suspect,” Ruiz said.
The teen was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with wounds that were described as not life threatening.
There was no description of the suspect and the incident was under investigation, Ruiz said.
