MSJC to offer youth baseball clinic with former MLB instructor

For young gamers looking to grow their baseball skills, Mt. San Jacinto College is offering a baseball clinic for youth ages 7 to 16 in December.

Steve Alonzo, MSJC’s head baseball coach and former hitting and catching instructor with the Boston Red Sox and Montreal Expos will lead the clinic.

Participants will receive instruction in hitting, catching, throwing, infield and outfield play, base running, pitching, bunting, and speed development.

The clinics will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 27-29.

Fees, which include lunch and a T-shirt, are $75 pre-registration, $100 on the day of event, $125 per set of siblings, and $600 for a team of 10 to 15 players.

The clinic will be held at Mt. San Jacinto College, 1499 N. State Street, San Jacinto, CA 92583
