Moreno Valley blaze displaces seven

Twenty firefighters battled for about 25 minutes before knocking down a blaze that started in the attic of a Moreno Valley home today and displaced seven residents, the county fire department said.

The fire was reported at 12:21 p.m. in the 15700 block of Farmstead Street, said Jody Hagemann of the fire department.

The fire was extinguished by 12:45 p.m., she said.

Four adults and three juveniles were displaced, Hagemann said.
