January is going to be one delicious, delectable month as restaurants in Temecula of every culinary taste and flavor are signing up to take part in California Restaurant Month. Each of the restaurants will run special lunch menu items for $5, $10 and $15 and dinner items for $15, $20 and $30 throughout the month of January. To learn more, visit restaurantmonth.org.

Swing by and stroll the Arts and Crafts Fair at beautiful Maurice Car’rie Winery from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

Sweet sounds will fill Old Town Temecula Community Theater when the California Chamber Orchestra presents “The Suite Life” at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21. The performance will feature Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Concertino in E Flat Major, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Suite No. 1 in C Major, and Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite.

Smooth jazz and acoustic guitarist Will Sumner will perform as part of Temecula Live Music Saturdays. Performances run from 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 21.
Live music and a lovely glass of wine sounds like a divine way to spend a few hours.
Luther Hughes & The Cannonball Coltrane-Project

Bassist Luther Hughes has played with some jazz greats and now will be joined by The Cannonball Coltrane Project for a swinging and swaying night of jazz. The performance is planned for 8 p.m. on Jan. 20 at Old Town Temecula Community Theater.

Founding member of the rock group Staind Aaron Lewis will offer a live solo and acoustic performance this weekend. The show is planned for 8 p.m. on Jan. 21 at Pechanga Resort & Casino.

The 4th Annual Temecula Creates Art Show features the artistic creations of students who attend the various visual arts classes provided by the Community Services Department of Temecula. The exhibit runs through Jan. 30.

Music is always happening at The Merc in Old Town Temecula. Friday’s feature good old fashioned rock ‘n roll and Saturday’s go country at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15. Then, it’s Classics at The Merc at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $11.
