Weekend weather forecast looks wet, windy

A  storm is expected to move into Southwest Riverside late Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Areas affected include coastal regions, San Bernardino and Riverside counties and desert communities, including the Inland Empire.

According to the National Weather Service, the Pacific weather system should move into Southern California on Friday night, bringing rain and windy that could last throughout the weekend and into Monday.

Strong, gusty winds are expected Saturday, over the mountains and desert foothills.

Snowfall is possible in areas around 9,000 feet.
