On Murrieta: Charges sought against woman who allegedly lied to police

Lucy Baronstack: “I think that we tax payers should send Ms.Christina Vasquez a bill for the services of the police, emergency services, and hospital staff. Why should we have to pay money for nothing? With budgets stretched and services thin, I am outraged that this woman is free of any fiduciary responsibility! I think her identity should be made infamous everywhere that someone needing help, hears no. “Sorry about the ambulance delay, but Christina Vasquez used your money”. “No special education classes today, Christina Vasquez used the money.” “No police overtime for crime investigation, Christina Vasquez used the money.” Despicable.”

On Intense Murrieta structure fire engulfs, destroys garage

Taira: “Crazy pictures! I live right across the street in Olive Hill Ranch, so we watched from our backyard. So scary! But I’m glad that no one is hurt. Murrieta Fire Department did a great job at getting the fire out fairly quickly! They are still there though, just watching over the building and investigating the cause I’m guessing.”

On 2 arrested in connection with thefts at Temecula elementary schools

Bill: “What do you want to bet they had a kid lifting the cards for them. Teachers don’t make enough $ as is.”

On Dog attacks mom and child in Moreno Valley

Merle: “Pits have a bad rap. It is the owners of the dogs that cause the problems. My pit mix is the most lovable and loves everyone. The Bull Mastiff, is not a mean dog by breed, so don’t start putting a label on that breed too.”

On Residents show emotion, support during procession honoring Sgt. Noah Korte

Connie: “Don’t Vote for Melendez, look she will do anything to get votes. The whole Lake Elsinore City Council participated in organizing this event. It saddens us to believe Sgt. Noah Korte had to be used as a pond for Melendez to get votes tsk tsk tsk”
