The mother of a 12-year-old girl walking naked and eating food out of trash cans has been arrested for child endangerment, it was reported today.
According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report, Tracy Betts, left the child in a vehicle Thursday unattended.
Betts works as a teacher’s assistant at Vail Elementary School in Temecula, which is within walking distance from where the child was located.
Betts was later booked into the Southwest Detention Center. The girl was taken into protective custody and given medical care at a nearby hospital.
