A woman was displaced from her residence as her large motor home burned in Mead Valley, a county fire department spokeswoman said today.
The fire was reported at 8:55 p.m. Friday in the 21900 block of Jean Street in Mead Valley, which is west of Perris, said Jody Hagemann of the fire department.
“Firefighters reported upon arrival that the motor home was well involved with exposures on both sides,” Hagemann said.
“The fire was quickly contained to the motor home.”
The American Red Cross was called in to help the woman arrange for emergency lodging and other needs. Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, Hagemann said.
