Lake Elsinore crash leaves one motorist critically injured

A collision in Lake Elsinore left a motorist critically injured today.

The two-car crash at or near Old Elsinore and Marie roads was reported at 9:11 p.m. Friday, Cheri Patterson of the Riverside County Fire Department said.

Firefighters freed two people from the wreckage and took both to a hospital, where one was reported in critical condition, she said.
