Girl assaulted walking home from school in San Jacinto, suspect at large

A girl was sexually assaulted as she walked home from school in San Jacinto on Monday March 26 at 3 p.m.,  it was reported.

The girl told responding officers from the San Jacinto Police Department that when she was walking home from school, a teenage white male approached her and asked her if she wanted to engage in sexual acts.

The victim refused the suspect’s advances and he grabbed her breast and threatened to kill a member of her family if she told anyone, a Southwest Riverside County press release stated.

The attacker fled on foot westbound on Evans Street.

The suspect is described as having blonde hair, a slight build, a nose ring dividing his nostrils, a black chain necklace and wearing a baseball cap backwards.  He was last seen in a white t-shirt and dark skinny jeans, officials reported.

A composite sketch was prepared and the investigation is ongoing.
