Four men were arrested for robbing an AM/PM store on Diamond Drive in Lake Elsinore at about 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The shaken up employee told officers that two adult men and one juvenile man barged into the store, grabbed three cases of beer and attempted to run out, officials reported.
The store clerk told responding officers that he tried to stop the robbers from leaving and one of the suspects shoved him out of the way.
“We don’t recommend citizens get involved in a situation like that,” Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Albert Martinez said. “The best thing someone can do is to be a good witness and get a description of the offenders and any vehicles involved.”
The clerk was uninjured and all three suspects, 19-year-old Tanner Kalic, 21-year-old Aaron Raby, 18-year-old Alexander Becerra and a 17-year-old juvenile were caught fleeing the scene.
They were arrested and booked on charges of strong arm robbery and burglary.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information related to this case is urged to call the Lake Elsinore Police Department at 951-245-3300.
