After successfully operating the original Mantra in Corona for 18 months, owner Sumit Sharma and chef Ajit Singh opened their second location at Jefferson and Overland in Temecula last July.
Mantra is a welcome addition to our local restaurant scene filled with sports bar & grilles, fast food establishments, and wine-centric Italian ristorantes.
The valley’s taste buds may never be the same.
For those not accustomed to Indian cuisine, don’t let that unfamiliarity stop you from experiencing amazing-tasting food that has been with us for thousands of years.
Indian culture has been around much longer than we have — they know what they’re doing.
Fresh, exotic flavors and colors, unique dishes, and extremely affordable prices – that’s what you’ll get when visiting Mantra.
With the exception of the Tandoori Chicken and the Patak Paneer (curry-style spinach), Mantra’s Lunch Buffet changes every day. So simply put, become a lunch regular and you’ll eventually experience Mantra’s entire menu.
While everything tastes great, particularly enjoyable are the Aloo Matar (traditional potato dish), Goat Curry, Chicken Korma (creamy and spicy), Daal Makhni (lentils in spicy thick soup), and Gulab Jamun (sweet balls of milk cream).
Everything is delectable.
The lunch buffet (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) attracts an eclectic mix of businessmen and women, families with young children, solo diners on their break from work, and friends enjoying a day off. It costs a mere $7.99 ($8.99 on Sat-Sun.) per person, where guests are treated to an all-you-can-eat buffet, salad bar, dessert, and of course, Naan.
The dinner menu is available from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day.
That’s huge value right there! But throw in some of the most exquisite-tasting food your taste buds have experienced, and you’ll swear it’s an outright steal.
