A Riverside man was identified today as the person killed in a traffic collision in Mead Valley near Perris.
Francisco Gonzalez, 31, died at the scene of the crash on Cajalco Road, east of Seaton Avenue, when the Toyota Tacoma he was driving struck a 2003 Ford Explorer head-on just after midnight April 5, according to the county coroner.
Firefighters cut two people out of the wreckage, and Gonzalez’s passenger and three people in the SUV were injured, according to a fire department spokeswoman.
