Perris man arrested for alleged car theft

A Perris man was behind bars today for alleged vehicle theft, burglary, possession of stolen property and a parole violation, it was reported.

After a weeks-long investigation, the Perris Police Department Investigations Bureau identified the suspect and served a search warrant at 23-year-old Cristian Graciano’s residence, officials said.

During the search, officials discovered stolen property taken from a vehicle that had been burglarized on the morning of April 1 in the 200 block of Count Turf in Perris, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report.

A second vehicle had been stolen from the victim.

Graciano was arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center.

An investigation is underway.
