A man was found shot to death inside a Palm Springs apartment, and a man has been arrested, a police spokesman said today.
Chad Patrick Barrera, 31, of Cathedral City, was accused in the killing of a 36-year-old man, whose body was found shortly before 2 a.m. Friday in an apartment in the 300 block of West Mariscal Road, according to Palm Springs police Sgt. Mike Kovaleff.
The dead man’s name was not released.
Barrera was arrested for suspicion of murder, a related kidnapping and probation violation, Kovaleff said. He was held without bail at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
Few other details about the incident were released.
“The investigation is ongoing and additional details can’t be released at this time because they could jeopardize this investigation,” Kovaleff said.
