Eden, star of 1960s television show “I Dream of Jeannie,” will be a presenter at the AIDS Assistance Program’s annual gala tonight and will sign her memoir, “Jeannie Out of the Bottle,” at Just Fabulous tomorrow.

The 19th annual AIDS Assistance Program fundraiser, “Evening Under the Stars,” will be held at the O’Donnell Golf Club.

The event features a performance by the 1980s girl band The Go-Gos and will be hosted by “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” actress-singer Lainie Kazan.

“Barbara Eden is one of America’s most endearing and enduring stars,” said AIDS Assistance Program Director Mark Anton. “What makes her even more appealing is the fact that she is so dedicated to various charities. We are honored she’s taken time out of her busy schedule to be with us on such an important occasion for AIDS Assistance Program.”

Eden will sign her book from 1 to 3 p.m. tomorrow at Just 515 N. Palm Canyon Drive.

Eden is best known for her title role on “I Dream of Jeannie,” which ran for five seasons on NBC and has aired in syndication for years. Sony Pictures is preparing a Jeannie film, in which Eden will have a supporting role.

She recently published “Jeannie Out of the Bottle.”

Tickets for the AIDS fundraiser range from $395 to $500 and can be purchased by contacting the AIDS Assistance Program at (760) 325-8481 or www.aidsassistance.org.
